Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients
- [ ] 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- [ ] 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- [ ] 2 tablespoons olive oil
- [ ] 3 cloves garlic, minced
- [ ] 1 tablespoon lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
- [ ] 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- [ ] Salt and pepper to taste
- [ ] Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
- [ ] Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
- Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each fillet.
- Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
For added flavor, you can broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes to give the top a golden, slightly crispy texture. This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a simple salad.
